Facial refinement with Aliaxin Essential Volume (EV) and Aliaxin Shape & Restore (SR): an advanced method of natural beautification

In aesthetic medicine, the difference between a good result and an extraordinary one often lies in the details.
In this article, we explore an advanced facial texturization technique using Aliaxin Essential Volume (EV), Aliaxin Shape & Restore (SR), and Aliaxin Fine Lines (FL) from IBSA Laboratories. This approach not only enhances facial beauty but also improves muscle functionality and the patient’s natural expression.

Aliaxin Essential Volume (EV): the ideal ally for softening transitions

The session begins with Aliaxin Essential Volume (EV), a honey-textured filler that integrates seamlessly with soft tissues. It is used to connect the labiomental fold with the midline, creating a smooth “tunnel” that shapes the region with a separation effect: the chin is projected downward while the lower lip is lifted, adding height to the upper lip.

This subtle, superficial intervention delivers natural results that are barely noticeable even during facial movements—ideal for high-mobility areas.

Precise treatment of the oral commissure

Continuing with Aliaxin Essential Volume (EV), the oral commissure and marionette lines are treated with a superficial, segmented technique. The goal: lift the corners of the mouth, soften the fold, and avoid unwanted thickening. Small amounts of product (0.1–0.2 cc) are enough to provide structural support that beautifies the smile, even at rest.

Piriform fossa: anatomically challenging

A high-risk region requiring advanced technique. The insertion of the accessory buccal ligament is located, the facial artery is retracted, and access to the bone is achieved with prior aspiration. The bolus placement pushes the nostril forward and deactivates the muscles responsible for nasal rictus. The result: a more harmonious nasal base and a smile with less vertical prominence.

Nasolabial fold and medial cheek

Injection is performed just medial to the buccal-maxillary ligament to avoid vascular complications and facial heaviness. This technique creates a smooth transition between compartments, corrects the nasolabial wrinkle, and improves medial cheek projection.

Infraorbital and tear trough

Aliaxin Essential Volume (EV) is also applied at the base of the tear trough, placing small boluses on the bone and molding upwards. This correction complements previous injections and eliminates subtle infraorbital depressions.

Aliaxin Shape & Restore (SR): invisible support in delicate areas

With a softer product like Aliaxin Shape & Restore (SR), the lateral canthus–cheek junction is treated. The aim is to provide vertical support to the lateral corner of the eye, creating an elegant “cat eye” effect without the risk of ptosis.

Final touches: forehead, lips, and nose

The procedure ends with Aliaxin Shape & Restore (SR) in frontal depressions and Aliaxin Fine Lines (FL) for lip refinement. Finally, in the nose, Aliaxin Essential Volume (EV) is applied, molding boluses over the periosteum to achieve a leveled forehead and smoothness without post-Botox creases. The result: a natural, symmetrical, and rejuvenated expression.
